However, in certain situations, the king and queen do not agree with her plans to leave home, and thus, she must take up the weapons and wage war against her parents.

Without any doubt, some hard words will be spoken. Many hard words. Most likely, there will be quite some treaths. In my case, at least, there definitely were. Best way to deal with it is to let it all come over you, then just ignore them and go on with trying to achieve your goal. Do not care much about the silly punishments the king and queen give you in order to hold you back, as if you are still a silly little girl. Do not mind if the king and queen threaten to cut through all family bounds, as if to prune the family line to keep it  healty. You know quite well that ? when it comes down to it ? they won?t do it in the end anyway. You should not worry about it too much.

Do not worry about your family. In the end, your personal future is at stake, seeing that the upcoming five years (this is so in my case, since my study will take five years to complete) will decide everything about your future.

In many cases, taking up weapons can not be avoided. A princess may be terrified by the idea of using any possible weapon in her advantage, a queen may not and will not be held back by that. She does realize that reaching her goal is more important than the means she is using to achieve it. Of course, she will try to keep the prize she has to pay for it as small as possible, but she will not avoid doing it, and thus accepting all the wishes of the king and queen. She knows that it is her life and that in the end, she has to live it. It is she who has to become happy, and not the king and queen.

As a princess, a queen may have been selfish and decadent, never looking further into the future that to the next fun event, as a queen , she knows that there are things in the future for which she has to start fighting now, and she places all her troups as if to prepare for a simple game of chess. In the end, this is a game. The game of her life.

Also, a queen knows that anyone who can come useful should be used, but in the right situation. If she knows someone who has an influence on her parents, then she should get this person to talk to them. Anything to assure that she can assure her freedom.

I do know the king and queen will refuse to accept that their precious little girl wants to leave home. Just as all parents, the king and queen want to keep control, as they have controled almost everything ? uptil now ? in the princess? life. However, for controling her life is in the life of a queen no place.

The king and queen do have a point when they tell her that having a debt is not a great thing, but if they refuse to pay for her tution, how much choice does any otome ? queen or not ? have? Either she obeys, giving up her wishes, or she goes against it and borrows the money to pay for her studies.

Face it, you are or will be eighteen by the time you go to university and by then, the king and queen have nothing to say about you anymore legally. So, if it is your wish to leave home and borrow money and study somewhere they do not approve of, that is your choice.

Life your life as you wish to. try to see the king and queen as human beings, behave but never let anyone hold you back from what you want.

And, no matter how much the king and queen are against you, they are your parents, and you do owe quite a lot to them. So, try to behave a little towards them. Think of this verb, if it bothers you: hold your friends close and your enemies closer. Just go to university and study hard. If you do well there, they will let go off their strange and well ? I?m sorry to say so ? arrogant attitude towards you. They?ll be quite proud of you, and at the same time you have your freedom. In the end, this means a win-win situation, for the three of you will be happy.

As you will have noticed once again, being a princess is merely a façade to hide what I truly want to say behind. But then again, I?m probably stressing the obvious now, do I not?
