Heffalump's movie
Yesterday I downloaded 'Winnie the Pooh's Heffalump movie'. It was a very sweet story and the Heffalump (in Dutch, he is called Lollifant) was simply adorable. His name is Lumpy which is short for Heffridge Trompler Brompet Heffalump, IV. You can see him on the picture at the left.
It is a children's story, obviously. t is strange, but the more grown-up I become, the more I enjoy children's things. Disney films, princesss dreams, fairytales. I like them more now, than when I was a little girl. I understand more of the connections in it, the symbolism.
Certainly one grows up and abandons childhood things, but we will always return to it. We will never be too old to keep the child in us alive.
