An era of change

Posted at 05:01 PM on March 18, 2008

There are many things one can say about her high school period; that it was much better than primary school, that she both loathed and enjoyed it, that it was quite fun. But no matter what she said, she would never be able to grasp it completely. Even if she tried, she would always leave out parts and thus she wouldn?t do right to the story.

Obviously, it is different now than that it was back than. She started out a shy girl. She believe to be quite something with her twelve years of age but really, she was a child nonetheless.
The years of teenage rebellion, how could she possibly explain it to anyone whom wasn?t there? Or even to someone whom was. She would seek means to clarify her actions and reasons and thereby she would destroy what little is left of this time in her by ridiculing it or by denying or by laughing.

And how would she describe the last two years; how will she describe her final year? She may as well choose not to; keeping the illusion, the magic in tact.

How does one define a period with somany aspects; a period which exists out of so many small facets? One defines it by change; by growing up; one naturally changes.

Six years is a long time, as we know, and witnessed. It harbours childhood?s end, and the changing into a teenage girl, eventually evolving into young woman.

Six years... only six.

But an era of change...
