Mirror, mirror

You can't stand me,clearly. And I'm quite sure I can't stand you, either.

Have you any clue how much I would love to be not you?

I've been looking in the mirror for so long.

That I've come to believe my soul's on the other side.

All the little pieces falling, shatter.

Shards of me,

Too sharp to put back together.

Too small to matter,

But big enough to cut me into so many little pieces.

Emotion

Having a winter's depression in the midst of summer, making small cuts with everything I can find, destroying the thin polish of happiness.

Uncovering the beauty of the destroyed which lies underneath.

Everything is so beautifully broken. Have you ever seen me...

... without bursts?

You thought this torment was romanti...

How to grow up to the person you are

Posted at 05:58 PM on August 16, 2009 Comments comments (0)

Is it strange to take a liking in persons, whose weirder traits you seem to incorporate later in life? Would it be possible that one knows already as a child what lingers in deep grounds inside you, and will come out in later years?

Possibly, one could as well say that we model ourselfs after the persons whom we find ourselves take an interest in. But whom would live the life o...

An answer to fascination

Posted at 02:55 PM on August 14, 2009 Comments comments (0)

I have been asked - in regard to my previous entry, Fascination - whether the fascination means that I enjoy reading tragical stories, or that I have a wish to end like thatmyself.

How cananyone wish for such an end. Nobody wants to have their head decapitated for asentence about sweets which wasn't even theirs to begin with, likeMarie-Antoinette. Talking about meaningless violence!

Fascination

Posted at 02:29 PM on August 12, 2009 Comments comments (0)

What a gruesome interest which mankind takes in the seamy sides of life, of history. Surely the victories are great. Howerever it are the negatives which bring the fascination. Hadn't the beautiful Romanov grand duchesses not een brutaly murdered and dumped, they wouldn't have been known better than a name and a picture in a family tree. Hadn't little baroness Vetsera died together with the crownprince of Austria-Hungary, no one would ever have heard of her name. It is death which...

The Sisi myth

Posted at 05:10 PM on October 16, 2008 Comments comments (0)
You can ask pretty much any random girl and she will tell you she has had a facination with the tragical Austrian emperess. Most of these girls never moved  beyond the sugar-coated fairytales about 'Sissy' with Romy Schneider. Few know more than a few details about Elisabeth. They consider her to be a fairytale emperess whom died so tragically.

Demons

Posted at 06:46 AM on June 25, 2008 Comments comments (0)

Deal with the demons in my head? Good god, as if that is nothing! There are more demons in my head which you do not know anything about, than that soul crossed the river Styx.

An exaggeration, of course, but still, that is not so easy. Because those demons kind of make me me. Without the things I feared, or the things which occupy my mind, and which are classified as 'strange' in the most positive expression, I wouldn't ...

A word on fear

Posted at 05:58 AM on June 25, 2008 Comments comments (0)

Just a short entry

There are many things I am afraid of. One of them is dying, or more death in general Silly, because it is inevitable. But the thing is, if fear keeps hold of you, you'll never live life. You'll just wait for it to come. Why not live life to the max?

Another fear of min...

Lessons in life

Found this on my computer and I believe I have not posted this yet... Let me know whether I am right!

øøø

What is it with us people that we always looked up to something out of reach. No matter whether it are actors, musicians, writers or people in a high job, we admire them...

An era of change

Posted at 05:01 PM on March 18, 2008 Comments comments (0)

There are many things one can say about her high school period; that it was much better than primary school, that she both loathed and enjoyed it, that it was quite fun. But no matter what she said, she would never be able to grasp it completely. Even if she tried, she would always leave out parts and thus she wouldn?t do right to the story.
